By providing a tablet device with a mobile broadband contract it is often possible to get a free or much subsidised tablet cost by committing to a mobile broadband contract. So if you planned to get a tablet and wanted to use it on the go, then it would be a good option to look at entering a contract that bundles the two services rather than buying a tablet outright and then searching for a data SIM product to use with the tablet.
It is likely that you would need to commit to at least a 12 month contract, often 24 months to qualify, but there are a wide range of different devices to choose from as the mobile operators want to make the proposition as appealing as possible.
