Three (3) have been rated as having the best 3G mobile broadband network by an independent survey conducted by the YouGov DongleTracker service for the second year running.
Joe Parker, Director of Mobile Broadband at 3 said: “We’re thrilled that our customers have rated us the Number One Mobile Broadband provider in the UK for the second time running, but also that smartphone users, including iPhone customers, are seeing the value of our strong 3G network. It’s a huge accolade and we can’t thank our customers enough.
“At Three we’re always looking at how we can evolve our offerings to best meet our customers’ needs and hope that we can continue to impress them.”
The YouGov DongleTracker survey is one of the most comprehensive consumer mobile broadband surveys in the UK and covers all of the major mobile broadband providers such as 3, Vodafone, T-Mobile, O2 and Orange. More than 2,000 customers from 3, Vodafone, T-Mobile, O2 and Orange were asked 15 separate questions relating to their mobile broadband service ranging from network coverage, reliability, connection issues, download speeds, ease of use, installation, billing and customer service. Once all of the independent score were collated, 3 were rated as being the overall best mobile broadband provider in 2010.
